Today’s topic is about the mission of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) and our guest speaker is Mark Alston as he presents the annual SHIBA report (State of Housing in Black America). But first, to learn about NAREB, you will visit their web site. Then, you will watch two short videos to become familiar with the mission and history of NAREB. Lastly is Mark Alston’s video. This topic of fair housing and our country’s unfortunate racial discrimination is a sad part of our history. However, it is an important topic we need to learn and discuss in order to change our future so homeownership is more equitable for all Americans.
