Three ways that the speaker can deliver a message that will resonate with the audience includes keeping the audience intrigued, sharing stories that relate to most of the audience, and giving background information to determine your credibility. Keeping the audience intrigued by making jokes or saying something funny is a great way to keep the audience paying attention. Sharing stories that other people will relate to makes the audience listen more because you understand them. Finally, if the speaker is just a random person speaking, the audience is not able to connect and trust the speaker. Whereas, if the speaker tells the audience about themself and what makes him reliable to discuss the speech, the audience will believe that he has a lot of trusting information.
