1. What contributions can anthropology make to our contemporary society?

2. Many norms and values in the United States are currently under intense debate. One good example of this is the controversy over transgender bathrooms. Some states enacted laws to prevent transgender individuals from using a bathroom that did not match their outward biological gender. Courts have ruled to overturn these laws. Discuss examples of culture change that may occur if this and similar laws are federally legalized in the United States.

After reading Chapter 3 from “Cultural Anthropology” please complete the following assignment:

could you reply on this “Following my shift into the United States, I have found different aspects of the culture here that are very challenging to adapt to. For instance, there is the use of slang and other cursing words that was not common in my mother country. In my stay, I have also found it challenging trying to communicate with a foreign accent. Other aspects of the culture are based on the diet. The food here is very different from the one back at home. Other elements include religion. In ensuring I adapt to the varying cultures, I have made new friends who have taught me a lot about different aspects of the new cultures. I have also tried tasting different recipes and learning how to prepare them at home. this has made it easier to adapt to the new cultures.” I will give you 5 dollar tip.
