POWERPOINT PRESENTATION INSTRUCTIONS: Create a PowerPoint Presentation for social workers that discusses the usage of technology within clinical practice. You will need to include the following content for each of the provided topics.

Introduction: Provide an overview of the importance of knowing ethical technology use as a clinical social worker.

1. NASW Code of Ethics: Aside from the ethical codes mentioned in the article “Ethics Alive: Ethics of Social Work Apps,” what other NASW Ethical Codes apply to the use of technology that you would want to highlight for social workers?

Privacy and Patient Rights: Identify relevant information that social workers need to know about HIPAA, confidentiality, and other legal issues with which they need to be familiar when using technology in their practice

1. Using Social Media: Should social workers use Facebook, MeWe, Twitter, or other social media accounts that reveal personal information? What are the pros and cons of doing so? Provide recommendations to other clinical social workers about issues of using social media sites after becoming practitioners.
