Description –

Our final project will be an envisioned Child Welfare System for NYC with components that we have reviewed over the semester. It will need to include citations, which can be from the documents that we read/watched/listened to.

The following components should be addressed/included:

– A mission statement – what you believe the work of the organization

– A statement of the work

– A historical review of child welfare in NYC and why your system is responsive

– How trauma will be addressed (trauma-focused work)

– What programs and services will be available.

– How racial justice work will be incorporated

– How cultural awareness will be incorporated

– Pick one current issue that we have discussed and how this will be addressed in your system

– A response to Commissioner Hansell’s editorial

NOTES: You can create your own FECs (family enrichment centers). This means creating our own agency/organization completely. I will be adding a paper that I would like for the content to be incorporated into the paper which would help with the creation, however PLEASE MODIFY TO FIT THIS. I will also attach rubric.
