ensure that you understand the difference between research and other types of articles, you are to find a research article focused on parenting. I suggest you use the library or google scholar to do this search. Upload the research article you chose to the Canvas Assignment “Article Reviewed.” Upload the word documents of your summary about the article here under this assignment. Remember that a summary is your own words. Plagiarism will be checked, so do not copy sentences word for word!

Below are some helpful pointers as to how you determine if the article is a research article or not. After you have made the determination that it is I would like you to provide a brief summary of each of the following sections of the paper: Introduction (i.e., tell me what the problem is that they are studying and why it is important), Methods (i.e., tell me who participated and what type of participation was included…surveys, interviews, evaluations),  and Discussion (i.e., what do their results lend to the literature?; what are the recommendations?). In the information below you will see what each section includes. I am not asking that you report about the results as I am not sure that all of you have had a statistics course, but you should report on all of the others.
